Software Test Engineer (Fresher)

Job Summary

This role involves testing software, finding and reporting bugs, and making sure the product works as expected. We are looking for a detail-oriented person with good communication skills who is keen to build a career in software testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and testing scope.
• Write and run manual test cases (functional and regression).
• Test web and mobile applications.
• Report and track defects in JIRA/Azure DevOps.
• Do basic API testing using Postman.
• Help with automation scripts (Selenium/Playwright) when needed.
• Work with developers and product teams to improve quality.
• Maintain test documentation and reports.

Skills & Qualifications

• Fresher (0–1 year) with a testing certification such as ISTQB Foundation Level (mandatory).
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile.
• Knowledge of test case writing and bug reporting.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of Postman and JIRA.
• Basic knowledge of Selenium or Playwright.
• Exposure to CRM application testing is an added advantage.

Nice to Have· Internship or project experience in testing.· Basic programming knowledge (Java/Python/JavaScript).· Additional certifications (ISTQB Agile, Selenium, Dynamics 365 Fundamentals).

₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
