Restaurant Manager

We are looking for someone who genuinely loves taking care of people. This role is at the heart of a new upscale dining concept opening in Mumbai, and the person who fills it will set the tone for how every guest feels from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave. You will lead and inspire a front of house team, build relationships with regulars before they even know they are regulars, and hold a standard of service that goes well beyond the transactional. We want someone who notices things, who remembers things, and who finds deep satisfaction in making an ordinary Tuesday night feel like an occasion. Four to six years of experience in a premium or fine dining environment is important, but what matters more is that hospitality is not just your profession. It is how you move through the world.

Requirements

You lead from the floor, not from the office. You remember guest names, and you remember what they ordered last time. You can read a room in thirty seconds and know exactly what it needs. You have managed a team through a hard night and made them feel proud of it by the end. You understand numbers well enough to protect the business without losing sight of the hospitality. You give feedback in a way that people actually want to receive. You know the difference between service and genuine care, and you never confuse the two. You have worked in fine or premium dining for at least four years. You communicate with warmth and precision in equal measure. You believe that no detail is too small if a guest might notice it.
