Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie – Pizza to manage the day-to-day operations of the pizza section. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation, following food safety standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to standard recipes and outlet specifications.
Handle pizza dough preparation, fermentation, stretching, shaping, topping, and baking.
Maintain consistency in pizza size, texture, taste, and presentation.
Operate and maintain pizza ovens and other section equipment safely and efficiently.
Prepare sauces, toppings, cheese, vegetables, meats, and other pizza ingredients.
Ensure proper mise en place before every service.
Monitor food quality, freshness, portion control, and wastage.
Follow standardized recipes and maintain proper food cost control.
Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients as per FIFO standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pizza section, equipment, and work area.
Follow all applicable food safety and hygiene guidelines.
Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely and smooth service.
Guide and supervise Commis Chefs and trainees working in the pizza section.
Check stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements to the Sous Chef.
Assist in menu development and introduce new pizza concepts when required.
Handle high-volume service while maintaining quality and delivery time.
Ensure minimum wastage and proper utilization of ingredients.
Support the Chef/Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and other assigned responsibilities.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of pizza preparation and baking techniques.
Good understanding of dough fermentation and hydration.
Knowledge of different pizza styles and toppings.
Good knife-handling and basic food-production skills.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety.
Ability to work under pressure during peak service.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Leadership ability to guide junior kitchen staff.
Good time management and attention to detail.
qualification & Experience
- Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
- Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in a reputed hotel, restaurant, pizzeria, or premium F&B outlet.
Relevant experience specifically in Pizza / Italian Cuisine will be preferred.

- ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
