Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lathe Machine Operator to operate lathe machines for manufacturing and precision machining work. The candidate should have hands-on experience in machine operation, tool setting, measurements, and quality inspection.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathe machines for various machining operations.
• Set up machines, tools, and workpieces as per job requirements.
• Perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and related operations.
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
• Use vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Check finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Maintain production targets and required quality standards.
• Identify machine or tooling issues and report them to the supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lathe Machine Operator.
• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or relevant qualification preferred.
• Hands-on experience with lathe machine operations.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, machine settings, and machining processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of basic measurement and inspection methods.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
