Staff Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Accountant who is either a fresher or has up to 1 year of relevant experience in accounting. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting processes, working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO), and a strong willingness to learn and grow with our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including
• Recording journal entries
• Maintaining ledgers and trial balances
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
• Perform bank and account reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.
• Help manage accounts payable and accounts receivable (invoices, payments, follow-ups).
• Prepare basic financial reports and supporting schedules as required.
• Ensure accurate data entry and documentation of financial transactions.
• Support the finance team with audits, compliance, and other ad-hoc tasks.
• Use MS Excel for data analysis, summaries, and reporting.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification.
• Experience: Fresher to 1 year in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
• Technical Skills
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Good command of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic reporting).
• Soft Skills
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn, take responsibility, and work in a team.

Pay

Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
