The Service Delivery Manager (Payroll, Compensation & Benefits and Talent Management) is accountable for the end-to-end operational delivery, governance, integration, and continuous improvement of payroll, rewards, and talent-management services delivered through internal teams and external service providers. The role ensures accurate and timely payroll, effective compensation and benefits administration, and reliable execution of performance, talent-review, and succession processes.
Operating as a senior individual contributor, this role partners with Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal, Tax, HRIS, and external providers to ensure service excellence, strong controls, regulatory compliance, process standardization, and an effective employee and manager experience.
Your Impact
End-to-End Service Ownership: Own service delivery for Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Talent Management processes within the assigned global scope. Ensure services meet agreed quality, timeliness, and employee experience standards. Maintain clear accountability across retained and outsourced activities.
Vendor & Platform Management: Manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits administrators, compensation-service partners, talent-platform providers, and other external vendors. Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and contractual commitments. Support governance of payroll, compensation, benefits, performance, succession, and talent technology platforms and their operational processes.
Payroll, Rewards and Talent Operational Excellence: Oversee payroll calendars and controls, compensation and incentive-cycle administration, benefits operations, performance cycles, talent reviews, succession planning, and associated employee and manager support. Ensure operational readiness for payroll cutoffs, year-end activities, annual compensation and benefits events, performance cycles, and talent-review processes. Drive standardization and process harmonization globally.
Governance, Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance with payroll, tax, social-security, employment, compensation, benefits, data-privacy, and internal-control requirements. Manage risks, escalations, and corrective action plans. Monitor process adherence and audit readiness.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation: Identify automation and digitalization opportunities. Optimize employee and manager experience within payroll, rewards, performance, succession, and talent systems. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio.
Change & Process Management: Support implementation of payroll changes, compensation and benefits programs, and talent-management solutions. Maintain process documentation and operating procedures. Coordinate change requests and release activities.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, HRBP, Finance, Legal, Tax, HRIS, and Procurement teams. Provide operational insights and recommendations to support business objectives. Coordinate cross-functional dependencies impacting talent programs.
Your Experience and Qualification
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, Accounting, Organizational Development, or related field
5-8 years of relevant experience in Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, HR Shared Services, or outsourced service delivery
Experience supporting payroll, compensation, benefits, performance, succession, and talent-management platforms
Knowledge of payroll controls, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning
Global Payroll operations experience preferred
