JOB DESCRIPTION

The HR Intern will work closely with the People Business Partnering team to provide administrative and operational support for employee relations, talent acquisition, and HR initiatives across the North and East regions. This role offers hands‑on experience in HR processes, data management, and stakeholder coordination within a dynamic legal entity environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist PBP leads with employee relations queries and documentation.

Support talent acquisition activities, including job posting, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.

Maintain and update HRIS records for North & East region employees.

Prepare onboarding kits and coordinate new hire orientation sessions.

Compile and analyze HR metrics and reports for regional leadership.

Facilitate internal communications and announcements related to HR initiatives.

Help organize regional training and development events.

Track and manage employee attendance and leave records.

Provide administrative support for performance management cycles.

Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bengali is a plus.

Basic understanding of HR concepts and talent acquisition processes.

Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS tools.

Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Availability to work on-site in Kolkata for the internship duration.

Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
