Digital Marketing – WordPress & Content Intern

About the Role

CCAN Solutions is looking for a WordPress Website Maintenance Intern who is interested in website management, content publishing, blogging, SEO, and digital content.

This internship is ideal for freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience who want to gain practical, hands-on experience managing professional WordPress websites.

The selected candidate will work closely with our team and gain exposure to WordPress website management, blog publishing, content updates, basic SEO, image optimization, website maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain WordPress websites on a regular basis.

Create, edit, format, and publish blog posts using WordPress.

Upload and update website content, images, videos, and other media.

Format blog articles using WordPress editors and page builders.

Update website pages, headings, text, images, buttons, banners, and other elements.

Add and manage categories, tags, featured images, and internal links.

Perform basic on-page SEO for website pages and blog posts.

Conduct basic keyword research for blog content.

Optimize images for website performance and proper display.

Check websites for broken links, formatting issues, and outdated content.

Assist with routine website updates, improvements, and maintenance.

Update menus, forms, banners, and other website elements when required.

Assist with managing WordPress plugins and themes under guidance.

Ensure website information and content remain accurate and up to date.

Assist with website backups, security checks, and basic troubleshooting.

Upload and manage content according to the company's content schedule.

Research topics and suggest ideas for blog content.

Coordinate with writers and designers when required.

Assist with basic Google Search Console and website performance monitoring.

Prepare basic reports related to website and blog performance.

Support the team with day-to-day website management activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Freshers are welcome to apply.

Basic understanding of WordPress.

Basic knowledge of website content management.

Good written and communication skills.

Interest in websites, blogging, and digital content.

Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of SEO is an advantage.

Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools is a plus.

Knowledge of the WordPress Dashboard, editors, and page builders is an advantage.

Good attention to detail.

Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
