This is a dual-role position requiring the candidate to manage the complete franchise lifecycle — from identifying new franchise partners and locations, negotiating and closing franchise opportunities, and supporting new outlet launches, to managing existing franchisees and ensuring their outlets achieve operational and financial performance targets.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the restaurant/F&B industry, franchise business models, sales and business development, outlet operations, real estate, and franchisee relationship management.

Key ResponsibilitiesFranchise Business Development

Develop and execute the franchise expansion strategy across Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Identify, approach, qualify, and convert potential franchise partners.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective franchisees.

Generate leads through networking, referrals, market research, real estate networks, exhibitions, digital channels, and industry contacts.

Conduct meetings and presentations with prospective franchise partners.

Explain the franchise model, investment requirements, commercial terms, support structure, brand proposition, and business opportunity.

Evaluate prospective franchisees based on financial capability, business experience, location preferences, and suitability for the brand.

Negotiate commercial terms within company-approved guidelines and drive opportunities through to agreement signing.

Location & Market Development

Identify potential locations for new restaurant outlets across Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Develop relationships with property owners, brokers, developers, and real estate consultants.

Conduct preliminary location feasibility and market assessments.

Analyse catchment areas, competition, customer profiles, rental economics, visibility, accessibility, and potential sales.

Coordinate with management and internal teams for final location approvals.

New Outlet Launch

Manage the franchisee onboarding process from agreement signing through outlet opening.

Coordinate with Projects, Operations, Marketing, Training, Supply Chain, Finance, and other departments.

Ensure franchisees meet timelines for site development, recruitment, training, procurement, licensing, branding, and pre-opening activities.

Support the franchisee during the launch and initial stabilization period.

Ensure new outlets are launched according to company standards and timelines.

Franchise Operations & Relationship Management

Act as the primary business contact for assigned franchise partners.

Maintain strong, professional, and long-term relationships with franchisees.

Conduct regular visits to franchise outlets across Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Monitor outlet sales, profitability, food costs, manpower costs, customer feedback, and operational performance.

Ensure franchise outlets follow company SOPs, food quality standards, hygiene standards, service standards, branding guidelines, and operational procedures.

Identify underperforming outlets and develop action plans with franchisees to improve performance.

Work closely with franchisees to identify opportunities for increasing sales and profitability.

Resolve franchisee concerns and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely solutions.

Ensure implementation of new menus, promotions, technology, systems, SOPs, and company initiatives.

Commercial & Performance Management

Track franchisee business performance and key financial/operational KPIs.

Review outlet-level P&L and unit economics with franchise partners.

Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margins, cost control, and operational efficiency.

Prepare regular franchise performance reports for management.

Monitor franchise agreements, commercial commitments, renewals, and other contractual requirements.

Maintain accurate records of franchise leads, agreements, outlet performance, and expansion pipeline.

Market Expansion

Identify new cities, towns, and micro-markets suitable for brand expansion.

Track competitor activity, restaurant trends, consumer preferences, and market opportunities.

Develop relationships with investors, entrepreneurs, business owners, and strategic partners.

Recommend expansion opportunities based on market potential and commercial feasibility.
