Job Description

The Emergency Medical Officer is responsible for providing prompt and effective medical care to patients, particularly in emergency situations, at Remedy Cancer Care. The role requires sound clinical judgement, quick decision-making, and close coordination with specialists and the broader clinical team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Emergency Response

Provide first-line medical care and respond promptly to emergency calls within the hospital premises.

Clinical Assessment: Conduct initial patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within scope of practice, and stabilize critical patients before transfer to relevant departments.

Coordination

Work closely with specialists and senior doctors for further patient management and continuity of care.

Monitoring

Monitor vital signs and patient condition closely during emergencies, ensuring timely intervention when needed.

Documentation

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and treatment provided.

Protocol Adherence

Ensure strict adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices at all times.

Qualifications

Education

BAMS / BUMS / BHMSor MBBS degree (mandatory).

Experience

Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in emergency medicine or hospital settings.

Skills: Strong clinical judgement, ability to make quick decisions under pressure, and good communication and interpersonal skills.

Languages

Fluent in Hindi or Urdu.

Salary

Negotiable as per industry standards within Lucknow.

Timings

Full-time, including rotational/on-call duty as per hospital roster.
