Logistics Sales Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Logistics Sales Executive to grow our client base and expand our market share in transportation and supply chain services. In this role, you will prospect for new business, build long-term client relationships, and offer tailored freight or warehousing solutions. You will work closely with our pricing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition: Proactively identify, prospect, and pitch logistics solutions (air, sea, road freight, or warehousing) to new corporate clients via cold calls, emails, and networking.

Needs Analysis

Assess prospective clients' supply chain bottlenecks and recommend optimal, cost-effective transportation configurations.

Rate Negotiation: Manage freight rate quotes, negotiate pricing and service contracts with clients, and align margins with internal pricing strategies.

Account Management: Maintain ongoing relationships with active accounts, providing stellar customer support and addressing any operational issues or escalations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate daily with internal operations, dispatch, and customer service teams to ensure promised pickups and deliveries are met.

Market Monitoring

Keep track of regional and global shipping trends, competitor rates, and industry shifts to adjust sales tactics.

Sales Reporting

Maintain accurate records of pipelines, lead statuses, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

Pay

₹35,991.71 - ₹55,596.56 per month

Experience

• Logistics: 3 years (Preferred)
• Freight Forwarder: 3 years (Preferred)
