Ambulance Driver
Key Responsibilities
Drive ambulances quickly and safely to emergency and non-emergency locations
Respond to emergency calls and follow dispatch instructions
Assist paramedics or EMTs in loading and unloading patients
Provide basic first aid support if required (as trained)
Ensure the patient is secure and comfortable during transport
Maintain communication with hospital staff and dispatch centers
Keep the ambulance clean, stocked, and in good working condition
Perform routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, equipment)
Follow traffic laws while using sirens and emergency signals responsibly
Maintain accurate trip logs and patient transport records
Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid driving license (commercial/heavy vehicle preferred as per local regulations)
Clean driving record with experience in emergency or professional driving
Certification in First Aid / CPR
Experience working with hospitals or emergency services
Training in emergency vehicle handling
