Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced ITI Fitter to join our manufacturing facility at Mallapur, Hyderabad. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment, machinery, pipelines, and plant utilities to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of plant machinery and mechanical equipment.

Handle fitting, alignment, assembly, dismantling, and replacement of mechanical components.

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.

Work on pumps, valves, pipelines, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and other mechanical equipment.

Identify mechanical faults and carry out necessary troubleshooting and repairs.

Perform fabrication, cutting, grinding, drilling, and basic welding-related work as required.

Ensure proper alignment and fitting of machines and equipment.

Follow maintenance schedules and maintain required maintenance records.

Coordinate with the Production and Maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.

Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical plant safety guidelines.

Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the maintenance/work area.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.

Qualification

ITI – Fitter Trade from a recognized institute.

Candidates with 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Experience in a chemical manufacturing plant/industrial environment will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of mechanical fitting and maintenance.

Basic understanding of industrial machinery and equipment.

Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.

Knowledge of tools, measuring instruments, and fitting equipment.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.

Ability to work in a team and follow safety instructions.

Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Safety-conscious and willing to work in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to handle routine and breakdown maintenance activities.
