Job Responsibilities

Assemble Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and automation equipment as per drawings.

Read and understand mechanical assembly drawings.

Perform machine assembly, alignment and fitting activities.

Install and assemble mechanical components such as

Bearings

Linear guides

Ball screws

Pneumatic cylinders

Gearboxes

Motors

Conveyors

Sensors and other machine components

Perform drilling, tapping, grinding and basic fitting work when required.

Check machine alignment, dimensions and movement during assembly.

Coordinate with Design, Electrical and PLC teams during machine assembly and trials.

Assist in machine testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.

Identify assembly issues and support corrective actions.

Maintain tools, equipment and work area properly.

Follow company quality and safety procedures.

Required Skills

1–5 years of experience in SPM / Industrial Automation machine assembly.

Good knowledge of mechanical fitting and assembly.

Ability to read mechanical drawings.

Knowledge of hand tools and measuring instruments.

Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems is preferred.

Experience in machine alignment and troubleshooting is an advantage.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Fitter / Machinist preferred.
