Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medicines accurately to patients.

Counsel patients on the correct usage, dosage, and possible side effects of medications.

Maintain up-to-date records of prescriptions, stock, and expiry dates.

Ensure safe storage and handling of drugs as per hospital protocols.

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff for timely medicine availability.

Adhere to all statutory and hospital pharmacy guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.

Valid Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council registration.

Minimum 0 – 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Good communication and patient interaction skills.

Willingness to work in hospital shift timings.

Requirements

Experience in hospital pharmacy billing or accounts will be an added advantage

Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with billing software

Strong communication skills in Tamil and English

Willingness to work in rotational shift
