Store Keeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Store Keeper to manage daily store operations at our construction site. The candidate will be responsible for material receipt, storage, issuance, documentation, and inventory management while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive daily materials as per approved Purchase Orders (PO), including physical verification, checking, and unloading.
• Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and safe storage of all construction materials in the store.
• Prepare and generate daily Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in the ERP system with scanned challans attached and process them for draft/approval.
• Handle basic material unloading activities at site and store locations.
• Issue materials strictly as per system-generated issue slips based on site requirements.
• Conduct monthly inventory stock verification and reconciliation to maintain accurate records.
• Perform daily challan scanning and ensure proper attachment in the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and accounts for smooth material flow.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a Store Keeper in real estate or construction industry.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and their storage requirements.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP systems for GRN, material issue, and documentation.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation practices.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in stock management.
