Key Responsibilities

• Assist nurses in providing basic care and support to patients.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
• Help in transferring and positioning patients safely.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of patients and patient care areas.
• Monitor and report any changes in the patient’s condition to the nursing staff.-
• Assist nurses during routine patient-care procedures as instructed.
• Transport patients safely to diagnostic and other hospital departments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and availability of basic patient-care equipment.
• Assist with bed making and changing of bed linen.-Support nurses in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
• Follow infection prevention and control practices and hospital safety protocols.
• Handle patient belongings carefully and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate politely and respectfully with patients, attendants, nurses, and other hospital staff.
• Perform other patient-care duties assigned by the nursing supervisor or hospital management.
