Sr. Manager- Purchase & Sourcing [Lingerie Division]

• Plan and manage all purchase activities of the organsation in line with production and pruchase plan
• Periodically evaluate stock level and continuously evaluate purchase plans
• Develop systems and procedures for organization’s purchase policy
• Responsible for supporting the introduction of new products as per the new launch calendar
• Forecasting levels of demand for materials and services in consultation with marketing and production team and ensure timely availability /supply of materials and services
• Conduct market survey and research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
• Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers;
• Identifying potential supplier and review existing suppliers for their products and services
• Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring the quality check as per material specification
• Approval of supplier payment and invoices as per the credit period
• Liaison with departments such as production/sales for accurate forecasting of material requirement
• Ensure that team members are trained in SAP and arrange periodical training as and when required for SAP
• Develop staff for higher job and improve staff efficiency
• Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities
• Producing reports and regularly update department heads/management
• Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors and maintain proper documents
• Attending meetings and trade conferences and conduct market research
• Experience in lingerie purchase and sourcing is a must
