Store Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Officer to manage day-to-day store operations at construction project sites. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in construction site store management and handling construction materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations at the construction site.
• Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials delivered to the site.
• Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
• Issue materials to site teams based on approved material requests.
• Maintain stock registers and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate material requirements with the concerned departments.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Project, Accounts, and Site teams regarding material requirements and availability.
• Verify delivery challans, material receipts, invoices, and other store-related documents.
• Monitor material movement within and between project sites.
• Ensure proper storage and safe handling of construction materials.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and systematic arrangement of the store.
• Track damaged, excess, obsolete, and returned materials.
• Prepare regular stock, consumption, and material movement reports for management.
• Update and maintain store transactions in the ERP system, wherever applicable.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and construction-site store management practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Store Management.
• Experience in handling construction site stores and construction materials is mandatory.
• Only candidates with experience in construction-site store profiles will be considered.
• Candidates with experience in general stores, retail stores, supermarkets, or non-construction industries will not be considered.
• Good knowledge of construction material receipt, issue, stock control, and inventory management.
• Experience in handling ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and store documentation.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and accountability.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with site and office teams.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Pay

₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
