FLOOR SUPERVISOR

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of floor staff.
• Ensure proper product display, shelf arrangement and stock availability.
• Monitor replenishment of products from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Ensure proper pricing, labelling and promotional displays.
• Assist customers and resolve routine customer queries and complaints.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and discipline.
• Allocate duties and ensure adequate staff coverage across different sections.
• Coordinate with the Receiving, Purchase, Billing and Store teams as required.
• Monitor product expiry, damages, shortages and stock discrepancies.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards are maintained on the sales floor.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
• Monitor sales performance of assigned sections and report issues to management.
• Ensure company policies and operational procedures are followed.
• Prepare and submit basic daily operational reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in supermarket, hypermarket or organized retail.
• Experience in FMCG, grocery or general merchandise operations will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of supermarket floor operations and product merchandising.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Pay

₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
