Job Summary

We are looking for compassionate and responsible Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers to provide personal care and day-to-day support to elderly and dependent individuals. The role involves assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, comfort and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Support residents with diaper changes and other personal care needs.
• Assist with positioning, turning and transferring from bed to chair/wheelchair.
• Support residents with walking and mobility activities.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as required.
• Ensure residents remain hydrated and comfortable.
• Observe and report any changes in the resident’s physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.
• Maintain basic care, feeding and other relevant records.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene around residents and their surroundings.
• Follow infection control and safety practices.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly residents.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and immediately inform the nursing/clinical team.

Candidate Requirements

• 10th Pass or above
• Freshers can apply
• Previous experience in patient care, elderly care, hospital support or caregiving will be an advantage
• GDA / Caregiving qualification is not mandatory
• Physically fit and comfortable assisting elderly/dependent individuals
• Patient, compassionate and responsible
• Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a care team

Preferred: Candidates with experience as a caregiver, patient care assistant, nursing assistant, hospital attendant, ward attendant or in elderly/senior care are welcome to apply.
