Field Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities Install, commission, test, and configure equipment at customer sites Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and/or software-related issues Respond promptly to service calls and provide on-site and remote technical support Document service activities, maintenance reports, and customer feedback accurately Train customers and end users on proper operation and basic maintenance of equipment Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, sales, logistics, and support) to resolve issues Manage spare parts, tools, and service inventory effectively Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery Specific Requirements / Qualifications ITI/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field) Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical service role Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings Willingness to travel frequently and work at customer sites Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver’s license Basic computer skills (service software, reporting tools, MS Office) Working location Gujarat and Maharashtra states Preferred / Additional Skills Knowledge of PLCs, networking, or software systems (depending on role) Availability for on-call or weekend support
