Duty Medical Officer(DMO)

job Responsibilities

• Conduct OPD consultations and evaluate patients appropriately.
• Manage common medical conditions and provide appropriate treatment.
• Handle basic emergency cases and provide initial emergency management.
• Perform basic procedures when required, including injections, IV fluids, wound care, dressing, etc.
• Maintain proper patient records and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with nursing and support staff for smooth patient care.
• Refer patients to higher centres or specialists whenever required.
• Maintain professional standards and follow clinic protocols.

Requirements

• MBBS with valid TNMC registration.
• Minimum 3 years of OPD experience.
• Good confidence in handling OPD and basic emergency cases.
• Fellowship / additional training in Diabetes, Emergency Medicine, or Dermatology/Skin preferred
• Good communication and patient-handling skills.
• Responsible, punctual and committed to regular duty.

Duty Timing

5:00 PM – 11:00 PM (6 hours)

Salary

₹50,000 – ₹70,000/month, based on experience
