Store Executive

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day store operations, including receiving, storing and issuing materials.

Receive incoming raw materials, packing materials, consumables and other items and verify them against PO, invoice and delivery documents.

Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and other store-related documentation.

Maintain accurate stock records, inventory registers and system entries.

Issue materials to Production, Maintenance and other departments based on approved material requests.

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the concerned departments for re-ordering and material requirements.

Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.

Ensure proper storage, identification, labelling and systematic arrangement of materials.

Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and identify slow-moving, excess and shortage items.

Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Accounts and other departments regarding material receipt, availability and issues.

Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward material movements.

Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and efficient utilization of the store area.

Prepare regular stock and inventory reports for Management.

Support internal and external audits by providing required store records and documents.

Ensure materials are handled and stored safely to avoid damage, loss or deterioration.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of inventory and store management.

Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and ERP/Inventory software.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.

Ability to maintain proper documentation and records.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Knowledge of GRN, material issue, stock reconciliation and inventory control will be preferred.

Experience & Qualification

Experience

1–4 years in Stores / Inventory / Warehouse operations.

Experience in manufacturing or packaging industry will be preferred.

Qualification

Any Degree / Diploma or relevant qualification.

Candidates with experience in handling raw materials, consumables and production-related materials will be preferred.
