Web Developer (PHP & JavaScript)

Ananda Vak Solutions is a digital agency with over 10 years of work behind it, serving clients in India and overseas across web, digital strategy and marketing. We are hiring a WordPress Developer to build and maintain client websites, working directly with our founder.

This is a small team. You will own the sites you build rather than handling one narrow slice of them, and you will see how the work connects to what the client is actually trying to achieve.

What you'll do

Build client websites on WordPress: theme setup and customisation, page building, plugin configuration

Take a design or a brief and turn it into a working, responsive site

Maintain and update existing client sites: fixes, speed improvements, plugin and core updates, security patching

Write and modify PHP where a plugin or theme needs to do something it doesn't do out of the box

Handle hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, staging and deployment for client sites

Implement on-page technical SEO basics: clean markup, page speed, schema, redirects, Search Console setup

Work directly with our CEO and, occasionally, with clients on requirements and revisions
