Key Responsibilities

Perform fitting and assembly of tools, dies, moulds and precision components.

Read and understand tool drawings and engineering drawings.

Assemble and dismantle dies, tools and mould components.

Perform grinding, filing, drilling, fitting and finishing operations.

Check dimensions and clearances using precision measuring instruments.

Conduct trial fitting and make necessary corrections.

Identify and rectify fitting, alignment and dimensional issues.

Maintain required accuracy and surface finish of tool components.

Coordinate with VMC, EDM, CNC and other tool room operators.

Carry out tool maintenance, repair and modification work.

Ensure tools and dies meet required quality standards.

Follow safety and housekeeping procedures.

Required Skills

8–10 years of relevant Tool & Die Fitting experience.

Strong knowledge of tool room practices.

Good knowledge of fitting and assembly work.

Ability to read engineering drawings.

Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Pay
