Key Responsibilities
Assist nurses in providing basic care and support to patients.
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
Help in transferring and positioning patients safely.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of patients and patient care areas.
Monitor and report any changes in the patient’s condition to the nursing staff.-
Assist nurses during routine patient-care procedures as instructed.
Transport patients safely to diagnostic and other hospital departments when required.
Maintain cleanliness and availability of basic patient-care equipment.
Assist with bed making and changing of bed linen.-Support nurses in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Follow infection prevention and control practices and hospital safety protocols.
Handle patient belongings carefully and maintain confidentiality.
Communicate politely and respectfully with patients, attendants, nurses, and other hospital staff.
Perform other patient-care duties assigned by the nursing supervisor or hospital management.
