School Nurse

Key Responsibilities

Provide basic first aid and immediate care to students and staff.

Assess and respond to minor illnesses, injuries, and health emergencies.

Maintain accurate health records and medical documentation of students.

Administer medicines as per school policies and authorized instructions.

Monitor students with existing health conditions and provide necessary support.

Conduct basic health check-ups and support school health programs.

Coordinate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns.

Maintain and manage the school medical room, medicines, and first-aid supplies.

Handle health emergencies and coordinate with hospitals or emergency services when required.

Promote hygiene, health, and wellness awareness among students.

Maintain confidentiality of students’ medical information.
