We are looking for an experienced Conventional Milling Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team.

Experience

1–5 Years preferred

Qualification

ITI / Diploma – Machinist / Turner / Fitter preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Operate conventional milling machines for precision component manufacturing
• Read and understand engineering drawings and dimensions
• Perform milling, drilling, slotting, keyway and related machining operations
• Properly set and clamp jobs, fixtures and workpieces
• Select appropriate cutters, tools and machining parameters
• Maintain required dimensions and surface finish
• Measure components using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other instruments
• Carry out in-process inspection and maintain dimensional accuracy
• Minimize material wastage and machining rejection
• Maintain machine cleanliness and basic machine maintenance
• Follow production schedules and quality requirements
• Follow workplace safety and 5S practices

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience on Conventional Milling Machine
• Good knowledge of milling cutters and tooling
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Knowledge of tolerances and dimensional inspection
• Experience in precision engineering / railway components will be an advantage
• Ability to work independently and meet production targets

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Salary will be based on experience and skill level.
