Helper Cook

Job Responsibilities Assist the cook in preparing food, snacks, beverages, and other cafe items. Prepare and handle basic ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, sauces, and other food items. Support cooking and food preparation as instructed by the head cook. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Wash and clean utensils, cooking equipment, and work surfaces. Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients. Assist with stock checking and inform the supervisor when supplies are running low. Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Support other cafe activities as required during busy hours. Requirements Basic knowledge of cooking and kitchen work. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Good personal hygiene and cleanliness. Punctual, responsible, and hardworking. Ability to work in a fast-paced cafe environment. Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, bakery, or similar establishment is an advantage. Working Conditions Full-time role with shifts as per cafe requirements. Weekly day off as per schedule
