Purchase Executive

Requirements \& Qualifications

• Education: Graduate in any stream (Commerce, Arts, etc.).

• Experience: 6 Months to 1 year of proven experience in market purchasing, procurement, and vendor handling (specifically for groceries, general items, or temple/hospitality supplies).

• Core Competencies: Strong local market knowledge, expert negotiation skills, and thorough understanding of purchasing documentation and billing processes.

• Personal Attributes: High integrity, active field orientation, honesty, and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities \& Process Flow

• Indent Acceptance: Receive purchase indents/requirements for groceries, household goods, and deity items from the authorized department.

• Market Sourcing \& Vendor Negotiation: Visit local markets or coordinate with vendors to source quality materials at the best competitive rates and terms.

• End-to-End Purchase (TOT Process): Complete the entire Terms of Trade (TOT) / purchase cycle—from rate finalization, quotation comparison, and PO generation to billing and final material handover to the store.

• Documentation \& Bill Processing: Ensure all purchase-related documentation (Bills, Delivery Challans, Tax Invoices, Quotations, and Approval Slips) are properly maintained and handed over to accounts/store for hassle-free payment processing.

• Material Delivery to Store: Procure and transport/dispatch the material directly to the store on time, ensuring proper physical handover and verification.

Pay

₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
