Production Engineer/Production supervisor

Job Summary

Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor / Production Engineer to manage and monitor production operations at our manufacturing facility. The candidate should have hands-on experience in VMC, CNC, or Assembly Line operations, along with strong knowledge of production planning, manpower handling, quality control, and shop floor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily production activities on the shop floor
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per planned schedules
• Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements
• Monitor VMC/CNC machining or assembly line operations
• Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, materials, and resources
• Monitor production processes to maintain quality, productivity, and efficiency
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, Purchase, and other departments
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns
• Identify and resolve production-related issues and delays
• Ensure availability of required materials, tools, and components for production
• Maintain daily production, manpower, downtime, and rejection reports
• Monitor rejection, rework, wastage, and production losses
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities
• Maintain discipline and proper housekeeping on the shop floor
• Train, guide, and monitor operators and production workers
• Support process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Production/Manufacturing
• Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
• Experience in VMC, CNC, or Assembly Line operations is required/preferred

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Knowledge of production planning, machine loading, and manpower allocation
• Experience in reducing rejection, rework, downtime, and material wastage
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement
• Experience with Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
• Experience coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, and Purchase teams
