Merchandiser

Merchandiser ensures that products are displayed attractively in retail stores to maximize sales. They manage stock levels, track sales performance, and coordinate with suppliers or store managers to ensure shelves are well-stocked and appealing to customers. Merchandisers work in supermarkets, department stores, fashion retail, and FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industries. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute product displays and in-store promotions to attract customers. Monitor and maintain stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. Ensure products are properly labeled, priced, and arranged according to store guidelines. Work closely with suppliers, sales teams, and store managers to improve product placement. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to enhance product visibility. Analyze sales performance data and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly. Ensure displays follow brand guidelines and maintain visual appeal. Travel to multiple store locations to inspect and update displays.
