Scheduling Production: Creating and maintaining detailed production schedules and timelines based on demand forecasts and inventory levels. Resource Management: Determining the specific manpower, raw materials, and machinery required for each production cycle. Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses, often utilizing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or ERP systems. Problem Solving: Identifying bottlenecks, resolving production disruptions, and adjusting plans to accommodate changes in customer orders or supply chain delays. Reporting: Generating status reports on production performance, efficiency, and quality metrics for management.
