Article Assistant/ Paid Assistant

We are looking for an Article Assistant / Paid Assistant to join our team and gain hands-on experience across accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance assignments.

The role will involve working closely with senior team members and managers on day-to-day client assignments, while developing practical knowledge of accounting and professional services.

Role & responsibilities

Assist in bookkeeping and accounting activities

Perform bank and ledger reconciliations

Assist with GST, TDS and income tax related work

Support statutory and tax audit assignments

Assist in preparation of financial statements, schedules and working papers

Assist with ROC and other statutory compliance work

Perform data entry, documentation and maintenance of accounting records

Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Coordinate with seniors and team members to complete assignments within timelines

Conduct basic research and assist in resolving accounting and compliance-related queries

Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of client information

What We Are Looking For

CA Intermediate / CA Foundation / B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification

Basic understanding of accounting, taxation and auditing

Good working knowledge of MS Excel

Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally will be an advantage

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines

A responsible and proactive approach towards work
