Management Trainee - Events
Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Management Trainee to support the planning, coordination, and execution of events. The role will involve working closely with clients, sponsors, golf clubs, vendors, F&B teams, equipment dealers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful event delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Assist guests with queries, requests, and on-ground event requirements in a professional and timely manner.
Assist in preparing tentative event budgets, cost estimates, and costing sheets.
Prepare professional presentations and proposals for sponsors and event partners.
Liaise with golf clubs, F&B teams, club management, and relevant vendors for event planning and execution.
Coordinate with golf equipment dealers and manufacturers to explore and facilitate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities for events.
Coordinate and communicate with event vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and smooth event operations.
Monitor vendor invoices, quotations, and billing to ensure accuracy of information and agreed commercial terms.
Assist in negotiating with vendors, partners, and service providers on pricing, deliverables, timelines, and commercial terms.
Maintain effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.
Support event setup, execution, and post-event activities as required.
Maintain event-related documentation, quotations, budgets, vendor details, and other records.
Identify and communicate potential operational issues and assist in resolving them promptly.
Perform any other duties relevant to your skills and responsibilities as may be assigned by the company.
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail, particularly in budgeting, costing, and billing.
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
Professional and customer-focused approach.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and during events.
Interest in events, sports, golf, hospitality, and sponsorships would be an advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Education & Experience
Graduate in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Prior internship or experience in events, hospitality, sports, sales, or vendor management will be an added advantage.
