- Assisting with Disassembly
- Help strip and dismantle defective motors, generators, and rotating equipment to remove damaged parts.
- Data Recording
- Record original coil data, wire sizes, and winding configurations before stripping units.
Coil Preparation & Winding: Learn to cut, form, and insert insulation, and wind new coils onto stators, rotors, and armatures using specialized machines and hand tools.
- Cleaning and Preparation
- Clean and prepare reusable mechanical and structural parts for reassembly.
Testing & Inspection: Assist in testing repaired motors (using insulation resistance, resistance balance, or voltage tests) to verify functionality under supervision.
- Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a clean workspace and follow all safety protocols regarding electrical and mechanical repair.
