Core Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Calling: Make daily outbound calls to prospective and existing clients or follow up on digital marketing leads.Customer Education: Explain solar panel systems, electricity savings, return on investment, and relevant government schemes or subsidies (such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana).Lead Qualification & Conversion: Assess a customer's monthly electricity bill, roof space, and budget to pitch the right rooftop solar setup, then convert interest into a confirmed appointment or site survey.Field Team Coordination: Hand over qualified, ready-to-buy leads and scheduled appointments to the field sales or technical site-survey teams.CRM & Data Management: Log all customer interactions, call outcomes, and follow-up schedules accurately in Excel or CRM software.Required Skills & QualificationsCommunication: Clear, polite verbal communication in local languages and English/Hindi.Education: Minimum 12th pass or a bachelor's degree (BBA, BCA, B.Tech, etc.).Technical/Computer Literacy: Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and CRM tools.Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in telecalling, inside sales, or customer support (though freshers with good communication skills are widely accepted).If you are preparing for an interview or writing a job description, let me know if you would like me to add:Common interview questions for a solar telecallerA custom job description template tailored to your company
