Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – BASLP / MASLP

Mind & Brain Hospital, Sahakar Nagar, Bengaluru, is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary clinical team.

We welcome both freshers and experienced candidates who are interested in developing their clinical skills in a hospital and mental-healthcare environment.

Position

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech Therapist

Qualification

BASLP – Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology

MASLP – Master of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology

Candidates with relevant recognized qualifications may apply.

Valid professional registration/certification wherever applicable.

Experience

Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.

Candidates with exposure to hospitals, rehabilitation centres, paediatric therapy, neurorehabilitation or mental-health settings will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language and communication assessments.

Plan and conduct individual and group therapy sessions.

Assess and manage speech, language, articulation, fluency and communication difficulties.

Prepare individualized therapy goals and treatment plans.

Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as required.

Maintain accurate patient assessment reports, therapy notes and progress records.

Provide appropriate counselling and guidance to patients and caregivers.

Provide home-based therapy recommendations where appropriate.

Coordinate with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.

Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital clinical and documentation protocols.

Dysphagia/swallowing-related cases, where applicable
