IT Trainer

Aditya Birla Skills Center is looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and learner-focused IT Trainer to deliver basic computer, digital, and AI skills training to students. The ideal candidate should be able to simplify technical concepts and help students develop practical IT and AI skills required for education, employment, and day-to-day workplace activities.

Key Responsibilities – Training & Facilitation

Deliver classroom and practical training on basic computer, digital, and AI skills.

Train students on MS Office applications, including

MS Word – document creation, formatting, tables, and professional documentation.

MS Excel – data entry, formatting, basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and simple reports.

MS PowerPoint – presentation creation, formatting, and professional presentations.

Teach students how to effectively use Internet and web browsers for information search and workplace requirements.

Train students on professional email usage, including email writing, attachments, CC/BCC, and email management.

Train students on basic Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI concepts and their practical workplace applications.

Introduce students to commonly used AI tools and platforms for productivity, learning, communication, research, and content creation.

Teach students how to use AI tools for

Drafting and improving professional emails.

Creating and improving resumes and cover letters.

Summarizing documents and information.

Generating ideas and content.

Creating presentations and reports.

Research and information gathering.

Improving grammar and professional communication.

Basic data analysis and productivity tasks.

Train students on effective prompting / prompt writing, including how to give clear instructions to AI tools and review AI-generated outputs.

Create awareness about responsible and ethical use of AI, including privacy, data protection, misinformation, copyright, and the importance of human verification.

Connect AI and digital training with real workplace requirements and job-readiness skills.

Conduct practical exercises, assignments, quizzes, assessments, and hands-on activities.

Provide individual support and guidance to students who require additional assistance.

Maintain student attendance, assessment records, training reports, and other required documentation.

Monitor students' learning progress and provide regular feedback.

Support placement-oriented activities by preparing students for basic IT and AI-enabled tasks commonly required in entry-level jobs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in IT training, computer education, digital skills training, AI training, or a similar role.

Strong practical knowledge of MS Office, Internet, Email, and basic computer operations.

Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

Working knowledge of Generative AI tools and practical AI applications.

Ability to explain technical and AI concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.

Ability to conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on activities.

Good documentation and reporting skills.

Comfortable working with students from diverse educational backgrounds.

Patience, empathy, and a learner-centric approach.

Preferred Qualities

Prior experience in a skill development, vocational training, education, NGO, or employability training environment.

Experience in delivering job-oriented IT, digital literacy, and AI training.

Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and learning tools.

Ability to develop practical, workplace-based IT and AI exercises.

Proactive and enthusiastic approach towards student development.

Strong coordination and teamwork skills.

Candidates residing in or around Navi Mumbai would be preferred.
