Staff Nurse (NICU)

Key Responsibilities

Provide 24×7 nursing care and monitoring to neonates as per clinical requirements.

Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, temperature, feeding, and overall clinical condition.

Assist doctors in neonatal emergencies, procedures, and resuscitation as required.

Handle and monitor NICU equipment, incubators, warmers, ventilators, CPAP, and infusion pumps as per hospital protocols.

Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by the consultant/RMO.

Maintain accurate nursing documentation, medication records, observation charts, and patient files.

Maintain strict infection prevention and control practices within the NICU.

Assist with feeding, newborn care, hygiene, and safe handling of neonates.

Coordinate effectively with Consultants, RMO, Nursing Incharge, and other departments.

Ensure proper handover and takeover of patients during shift changes.

Maintain availability and proper use of emergency and life-saving medicines/equipment.

Communicate appropriately with parents/attendants regarding routine nursing care as directed by the treating team.

Follow all hospital SOPs, nursing protocols, patient safety standards, and quality requirements.

Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and professional conduct within the NICU.

Pay

₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
