Staff Nurse

Staff Nurse – Ophthalmology (OPD/OT)

A.K. Institute of Ophthalmology (AKIO) is looking for a Staff Nurse with experience in an ophthalmology setting to join our OPD/OT team.

Job Responsibilities

Assist doctors and surgeons during OPD and OT procedures.

Prepare patients for ophthalmic examinations and surgical procedures.

Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.

Maintain proper patient records and documentation.

Ensure proper infection control and follow hospital protocols.

Prepare and maintain OT instruments, equipment, and supplies.

Monitor patients and report any concerns to the concerned doctor.

Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, and other hospital staff.

Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

Candidate Requirements

Qualification

GNM / B.Sc. Nursing.

DNC Registration is required.

Previous experience in an Ophthalmology Centre/Hospital preferred.

Knowledge of ophthalmology procedures and OT protocols.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Smart, proactive, responsible, and able to make appropriate decisions.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
