Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Engineer – Fresher to join our software engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring application quality through manual testing, automation, API validation, and database testing.

Responsibilities

Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing.

Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira or similar tools.

Perform API testing using Postman and validate REST/JSON responses.

Perform database validation using SQL.

Develop and maintain UI automation using Selenium or Playwright.

Support API automation using REST Assured/PyTest.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with developers and product teams.

Execute and monitor automated tests through CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

Manual Testing, SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

Basic Java/Python/TypeScript programming.

SQL, REST APIs, Postman, Git.

Selenium/Playwright and TestNG/PyTest.

Basic Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Linux, Docker, and Agile/Scrum.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA/B.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent. Freshers and candidates with internship/project experience are welcome.

Pay

₹240,819.05 - ₹808,583.26 per year
