PARCEL ASSISTANT IMPERIAL KITCHEN

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify takeaway and delivery orders.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure orders are ready on time.
• Check food items against the order before packing.
• Pack food securely and hygienically, including cutlery, sauces, napkins, and condiments.
• Label parcels correctly with customer/order details.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers and delivery platforms for order pickup.
• Handle takeaway customer collections professionally.
• Update order status in the POS/order-management system.
• Check that bills, receipts, and payment details are correct.
• Report missing, incorrect, or damaged items to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the packing and dispatch area.
• Follow restaurant food-safety and hygiene procedures.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, takeaway, delivery, or customer-service experience is preferred.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Basic computer/POS knowledge.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly during busy periods.
• Team-oriented and customer-friendly attitude.
