Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our commercial vehicle service team in Nagercoil. The Service Advisor will be responsible for handling customer service requirements, coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance, preparing job cards and estimates, and ensuring timely delivery of vehicles with high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their vehicle service and repair requirements.
• Conduct preliminary vehicle inspections and accurately record customer complaints.
• Prepare job cards, repair estimates, and service quotations.
• Explain required repairs, maintenance work, and estimated costs to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians and the workshop team to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Monitor vehicle repair progress and provide regular updates to customers.
• Obtain customer approval for additional repairs identified during servicing.
• Ensure proper documentation of service and repair work.
• Conduct final inspection and ensure all requested jobs are completed before vehicle delivery.
• Explain completed work and maintenance recommendations to customers during delivery.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate with the concerned departments for resolution.
• Follow manufacturer/OEM service procedures, warranty guidelines, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, vehicle history, and service activities.
• Support customer retention, service follow-ups, and workshop revenue targets.
• Coordinate with spare-parts and warranty teams wherever required.

Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Diploma / ITI / Any Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience: 1–4 years of experience as a Service Advisor in commercial vehicles, automobiles, or a similar workshop environment.
• Good knowledge of commercial vehicle servicing, maintenance, and basic automobile systems.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to explain technical issues in simple language.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with service/workshop management software.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Knowledge of Tamil and English is preferred; Malayalam knowledge would be an advantage for the Nagercoil/Kanyakumari market.
• Valid driving licence is preferred.
