About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Regional Manager – Sales (North) to drive sales growth and market expansion across the Western region.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the stationery, writing instruments, school/office supplies, FMCG, consumer products, or allied distribution-driven industries, with proven ownership of secondary sales.

The candidate will be responsible for managing distributors, channel partners, sales teams, market coverage, and revenue growth across the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive secondary sales across the West region, ensuring achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume objectives.

Manage and strengthen the distributor and dealer network across the assigned territory.

Monitor primary and secondary sales, stock movement, inventory levels, and market offtake.

Drive market expansion through appointment of new distributors, dealers, and retail partners.

Ensure effective market coverage, outlet penetration, product availability, and visibility.

Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the regional sales team.

Conduct regular market visits and work closely with distributors and retailers to understand market requirements.

Track competitor activities, pricing, schemes, product launches, and market trends.

Develop and implement channel schemes, promotions, and trade initiatives in coordination with the management.

Ensure timely collection of receivables and maintain healthy distributor outstanding levels.

Prepare and review sales forecasts, MIS reports, territory performance, and sales plans.

Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's presence across the West region.

Ensure adherence to company sales policies, pricing guidelines, and distribution processes.

Candidate Profile

Experience
8–15 years of relevant sales experience

Mandatory Requirements

Must have independently handled secondary sales ownership.

Strong experience in distributor/dealer/channel sales.

Experience managing a regional territory with multiple markets.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Strong understanding of distribution, retail sales, channel schemes, and market expansion.

Experience in managing and developing sales teams.
