Inventory Executive
About the Role
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Executive to manage day-to-day inventory operations, including material inward/outward, stock records, documentation, and coordination with procurement, production, stores, and logistics teams.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring smooth movement and availability of materials.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inward and outward movement of materials and maintain proper documentation.
Prepare and maintain GRN, material receipts, issue slips, delivery challans, and stock records.
Update inventory transactions in ERP/software or Excel on a regular basis.
Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate physical and system inventory.
Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Stores, Accounts, and Logistics teams.
Verify incoming materials against POs, invoices, challans, and quantity specifications.
Maintain proper documentation for material dispatch and transfers.
Prepare e-Way Bills and coordinate with logistics/transportation teams, where applicable.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
Identify stock discrepancies, shortages, excesses, and damaged materials and report them to the concerned team.
Maintain proper records of serial numbers, part numbers, batch numbers, and material specifications wherever applicable.
Ensure proper storage, identification, and traceability of materials.
Support stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
Ensure timely updating and filing of inventory-related documents.
Follow company procedures related to material handling, safety, security, and inventory control.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of Inventory Management and Store Operations.
Experience with Inward/Outward documentation.
Knowledge of GRN, Delivery Challan, Stock Transfer, Material Issue/Receipt documentation.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Basic understanding of e-Way Bill and logistics documentation.
Experience working with ERP/Inventory Management software.
Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in inventory, stores, warehouse, or material management.
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, defence, aerospace, electronics, or industrial organizations will be an advantage.
