About Business Unit

The Automotive Practice at Epsilon is a rapidly growing team, driving growth for major players in the automotive industry - from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to dealerships across North America. Part of a 1,600-member multinational team, the practice provides the automotive world’s largest service reminder platform, alongside agency services and digital media solutions. A leader in the automotive space, the team supports over 50% of auto dealerships in North America and maintains relationships with over 280 million customers. Responsibilities

Design, build, and scale data pipelines to support enterprise reporting and analytics across large, complex datasets.

Build of modern data warehouse platforms to enable reliable, scalable reporting and BI use cases.

Adoption of best practices in data engineering, coding standards, and cloud infrastructure.

Partner with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Qualifications

5-8 years of experience

Experience in Data engineering with proven track record of impact.

Strong expertise in Big Data ecosystems (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Delta Lake, Hudi, Kafka, Qlik ).

Strong in database technologies such as PostgresSQL, MySQL, MSSQLServer

Proficiency in SQL, Python/Scala for data processing.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) – EMR, Glue, S3, Lambda, etc.

Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and distributed systems.

Strong knowledge of enterprise DWH systems for reporting and analytics (e.g., schema design, query optimization, BI integration).

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills.

Experience with Redshift or other modern data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).

Exposure to Greenplum or other MPP (Massively Parallel Processing) databases.

Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines or advanced analytics platforms.

Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker in data environments.

Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
