Accountant (Tally Prime)

Job Description

We are looking for an Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally Prime to independently manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, be proficient in Tally, and be capable of maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally Prime.
• Record purchase, sales, payment and receipt vouchers.
• Generate tax invoices and e-way bills.
• Perform bank reconciliation.
• Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.
• Track outstanding receivables and payables.
• Maintain cash and petty cash records.
• Assist with GST-related documentation and coordinate with the Chartered Accountant.
• Maintain inventory-related entries in Tally.
• Generate monthly financial reports from Tally.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime (Mandatory)
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Bank Reconciliation.
• Purchase \& Sales Accounting.
• Ledger Maintenance.
• GST basics.
• Microsoft Excel.
