Job Summary

Diya Collection Boutique is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Fashion Designer Intern to join our team in Madurai. This is a good opportunity for fashion design students or freshers who want practical experience in ethnic wear, blouse designing, tailoring, embroidery and garment design.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior fashion designers with daily design work.
• Create and develop new blouse and ethnic-wear designs.
• Assist with pattern selection, colour combinations and fabric selection.
• Prepare basic sketches and design references.
• Assist in developing bridal, trendy and customized blouse designs.
• Coordinate with the tailoring and stitching team for design execution.
• Assist with Aari, embroidery and embellishment design concepts.
• Help with measurements, fitting and design modifications.
• Maintain design samples and references.
• Follow current fashion and ethnic-wear trends.
• Support the team in creating new collections and customized customer orders.

Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of fashion designing and garment construction.
• Interest in ethnic wear and blouse designing.
• Basic knowledge of fabrics, colours and patterns.
• Creative thinking and good attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn tailoring, blouse designing and embroidery techniques.
• Basic computer/design software knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Eligibility

• Fashion Designing students or fresh graduates.
• Diploma / Degree / Certificate in Fashion Designing preferred.
• Freshers are welcome.
• Candidates from Madurai and nearby areas are preferred.
